Landscape MuralThis was painted in a shallow niche in the entry of a Westlake Village home. The trompe l'oeil drapes match the color of the real drapes in the living room

Lion Powder RoomThis entire guest powder room was painted. Two walls were painted faux stone to match the fireplace in the family room. The other two walls were painted with scenes of Africa based on the client's own safari photos. The trompe l'oeil drapes were painted in the same colors as the real drapes in the dining room. This home is in Santa Rosa Highlands.

CherubsI've painted these cherubs many times. They are actually part of my stencil line.

ComposersThis mural was painted outside the music room at Mesa Verde Middle School in Moorpark. It depicts famous composers throughout history and contains bios and quotes to inspire the students.

CranesAn entry in Lake Sherwood painted in Chinese style on striped wallpaper.

ClosetThis was painted on metal bi-fold doors. The only things that are 3-D are the knobs which are used as handles for opening the doors. Even the louvers are painted on to match the louvered doors in the rest of the kitchen. All the objects have personal meaning to the client, Beverly Garland. The books have titles that she came up with that are jokes and puns alluding to friends and family. There is a portrait of her ( black and white) and a portrait of her husband (color), and a bottle of Beverly's Blush, a wine they sell at the Beverly Garland Hotel.

DinosaursT-Rex approaching a herd of Triceratops in Palos Verdes.

T-RexThis T-Rex is a detail of a larger mural done for a child's playroom. On the adjacent wall is a T-Rex approaching a herd of Triceratops. Many Moms ask, "Isn't it scary?", but I've never met a boy who didn't love a dinosaur mural. This image is based upon an illustration by Jeff's favorite dinosaur artist, Mark Hallett.

Painted CupboardThis piece was in the client's dining room. After I had painted the walls, the piece needed to be spruced up to coordinate. The dog is a portrait of their Rhodesian Ridgeback and the painted-on lace matched a piece that lay on the dining room table.

Eggs and ThingsThis mural was done on canvas and then wallpapered to the wall at Eggs "N" Things Restaurant in Camarillo.

Trompe l’oeil NicheThis trompe l'oeil niche was painted on cambric cloth and installed like wallpaper. Shadows were then added to the wall to enhance the three-dimensional effect. This is over a staircase in Palos Verdes.

Trellis Ceiling by Jeff Raum & Steve ShriverThis ceiling which consisted of four groins was designed by Steve Shriver. Jeff painted all the architecture and Steve painted the organic elements. This was for the president of John Robert Powers, located in Pacific Palisades.

Breakfast Room CeilingThis is painted on a groin ceiling in Palos Verdes. The "wrought iron" designs in this mural were incorporated into the real railings on the exterior of this house.

Tented CeilingThis ceiling was in a breakfast nook.

Wine Cellar CeilingThe trompe l'oeil beams were laid out to line up with the recessed ceiling lights so the lights wouldn't appear to float in the "sky".

Dome AuroraA dome painted for a doctor's office in Westlake Village.

Dragon MuralThis was painted on cloth and installed on a Moorpark boy's bedroom ceiling. The boy picked out which head and tail he wanted and specified it was to be a "balrog dragon". The wingspan is 7 1/2 ft. Motifs like this can be painted on cloth and installed with repositionable adhesive so the piece can be easily removed for storage or a new home. They also can be easily rolled and shipped and pieces like this have been installed as far away as India.

Cuban WaterfallPainted on canvas and installed in a Cuban-fusion restaurant in Palmdale.

Tuscany Dining Room, Agoura HillsPainted all four walls and ceiling to feel like being on a veranda in Tuscany. The main wall view is based upon a photo taken by the clients while they were there on their 10th wedding anniversary.
